Music
We play a wide range of recorder consort works, from beautiful medieval choral works to playful modern day compositions. The bulk of the music we own are Baroque works, as that is where the bulk of the recorder consort repertoire resides. However we have made efforts to search out works from all across the repertoire and find enjoyment from hundreds of years of compositions, rather than just the "standard" recorder music collection. Music choice for a rehearsal is mostly determined by the overall feel of the group, unless we have something specific to work towards such as a concert. We have our own Library of recorder music.
There is also a policy of "we'll try anything you bring". So if you have something you've never managed to play through before, or would simply like to give an airing, we'd be very happy for you to bring it along and for us to have a crack.
